BioSomewhere deep in the heart of the Amazon, something was afoot. For several days now they had been arriving, each by their own means of transport - some by foot, some by car, some by stealth or sheer bloody-mindedness. As it happens most of them had caught the well-publicised shuttle bus from the nearest train station, but that fact hardly stands up to dramatic scrutiny. They were there with murder in mind and cleaning products in hand, ready and willing to do their duty. So much for the foot soldiers - we all know they came out of idealism. Or greed. Or just to pay off the last instalment on their gorgeous young thai bride. The real question was "Who's in charge here? what bloody purpose this gruesome gathering?", and the answers are:
